Don’s practice is limited to specializing in issues concerning long term care, nursing home, Medicaid, disability, and estate and special needs planning.
▸ Member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is listed in the Academy’s Experience Registry since 1991 in the areas of Planning for Disabilities, Estate Planning, Estate and Gift Tax Planning, Decedents (Probate) Estate Administration, Guardian/Conservatorship and Medicaid Planning.
▸ Council member (served 9 years) of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Currently an officer of the Section.

He has spoken before many groups including Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education (Medicaid Update), Wayne State University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Macomb County Intermediate School District, Special Olympics, Michigan Association of School Administrators, Macomb County Life Underwriters, and numerous public seminars given in conjunction with colleges, senior centers, stock brokerage firms, accounting firms, financial planners and life insurance agencies.
