The Law Offices of Richard M. Heller, Esquire are located in Media, PA.  We are a well-established law firm in Delaware County and have been serving the Tri-State area for over 30 years.  Our office specializes in Real Estate Law, Section 1031 Real Estate Exchanges, Business Formation, and Estates.  We have a number of services relating to real estate including, but not limited to: LLC and Corporate Formation, Partnerships, Mortgage Foreclosures, and Property Tax Work.  We also offer services for the preparation of Wills and Power of Attorneys and Probate.

Mr. Heller is a practicing attorney in Media with an extensive practice in real estate, and also is president of R.E.I. Consultants, Ltd., a 1031 qualified intermediary company. 

Mr. Heller represents landowners, business owners, corporations, developers, brokers, real estate investment companies and trust and property management companies in the acquisition and disposition of real estate, commercial transactions, commercial leasing, real estate finance, land use, creation of condominiums and planned communities.

Also an instructor and lecturer on real estate topics throughout the country, Mr. Heller holds the prestigious CCIM designation of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Council of the National Association of Realtors as an Exchange Specialist.  He is also a Certified Exchange Specialist, a certification of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators.

In the past, Mr. Heller has chaired the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is currently a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.  He also served as Resource Counsel to the Standard Forms Committee of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. 

Mr. Heller is a member and former vice chair of the American Bar Association Purchase and Sale of Residential Real Estate Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust law Section and a member of the ABA’s Section of Taxation, Committee on Sales, Exchange and Basis. 

Currently, Mr. Heller serves as an advisor to the Joint State Government Commission (Real Estate Tax Force) of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Science Tax program at Philadelphia University.  He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Delaware County Bar Associations.  Mr. Heller received his B.S. from West Chester University and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
